Do you need my old x-rays and records?

A recent copy of your dental x-rays may be beneficial. Most insurance plans will only cover a full mouth set of x-rays once every three years. If you have a full mouth set of x-rays that is less than three years old, we recommend that you bring it with you. We may still want to take our own x-rays, but we may not need to take as many if your x-rays are current and a good diagnostic quality. If your x-rays are more than three years old, we will need to take new ones. Therefore your old x-rays will not be needed.

How much is it for my first visit?

Your charges for your first visit depends on the services rendered, whether you have insurance or not, and how your insurance plan is structured. For example, if you are coming in for a new patient exam and a full series of x-rays, without insurance, your visit will cost $99.00. However, if you have dental insurace, they may cover a portion or your entire visit. If you would like to have a cleaning with your new patient visit, without insurance, your cost would be $70.00 as long as your do not have periodontal disease. Any other treatment needs you may need and the cost involved will be reviewed with you before any work is started. This is the same with or without insurance.

How much will my treatment cost?

We always review the cost of your dental treatment before any work is started. We calculate your cost based on your dental insurance fees and copayment scheduled. If you do not have dental insurance, you may want to consider one of our in-house discount dental programs to help reduce your cost. We can easily present your treatment plan with and without the discount rates. For additional information on our discount dental programs, please refer to our Financial Options page.

If you would like to get a general idea what your treatment may cost, check out http://www.fairhealthconsumer.org/dentalcostlookup/. You will need to enter in our zip code, 85015, and the treatment you think you need. This website will give you an estimated cost based on the average dental fees for the area. Please note this is by no means the fee you will be charged in our office. Your fee may be higher or lower depending on your exact treatment needs. Dr Sadre will always present all options to you and we will review your cost before any treatment is started. The best way to know the cost of your dental treatment, is to schedule your first appointment.

Do you offer payment plans?

We are happy to discuss all your treatment plan payment options with you in detail. Depending on your specific needs, we have several options available to help you. Some treatment needs require multiple appointments. In those cases, we can always divide your payments across your appointments. We also work with two finance companies that offer a variety of payment options to best suit your budget. Care Credit and Chase Health Advance both offer 0% interest programs for 6, 12, 18, and 24 months. The amount you finance determines the length of the loan. Both companies also offer extended payment options up to 60 months, but these plans include interest.

Can I get my treatment done today?

We always do our very best to get you out of pain. We may or may not be able to start treatment at your first visit. A lot of factors come in to consideration when treatment is needed. You may need to be on antibiotics first. Your treatment may be extensive and require more time than the doctor has at that moment. Again, we always do our best to relieve your pain. If we are unable to start your treatment today, we may do a temporary treatment to relieve any pain. The doctor may also prescribe pain medication to help manage your pain until we can schedule your back in the office.

Why can’t I just get my teeth cleaned?

A teeth cleaning is a dental procedure. Therefore it needs to be diagnosed. As a new patient, the doctor cannot properly diagnose you without an exam and full mouth set of x-rays. In addition, a “regular” cleaning may not be the best diagnosis for you. Some patients present to us with periodontal, or gum, disease and require a more extensive cleaning to get the gums healthy. For more information on periodontal cleanings, please click here to go to our Services page. We would review any costs involved with your treatment before any work was started.

Do you see children?

Yes, we see children of all ages. We never want to force a child to do dental treatment. But we always try to accomplish as much as we can. In certain circumstances, it may be in the child’s best interest to see a Pediatric Dentist. It that becomes the case, we would make sure to refer you to a specialist that would best suit you and your child’s needs.
